Like gunshots on Fifth Avenue? The Truth Social post has been deleted. But you can still see it, just as it was, at the Wayback Machine.
With apologies—at Mediate, the original report started like this:
Trump Posts Video Depicting Barack and Michelle Obama as Apes
President Donald Trump shared a 2020 election conspiracy video to Truth Social on Thursday night that briefly depicts former President Barack Obama and former First Lady Michelle Obama as apes.
And so on from there. It's in that report that we saw the link to the original Truth Social post.
By now, the original post has been deleted. First, though, and again with sorrow, the cosmos was offered this:
White House Shrugs Off ‘Fake Outrage’ Over Trump Post Depicting Obamas as Apes
White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt has dismissed criticism of President Donald Trump for having shared an AI-generated video on Truth Social depicting former President Barack Obama and former First Lady Michelle Obama as apes.
[...]
Responding on Friday, Leavitt defended the post in comment to PBS and said the controversial clip was from a meme that had depicted Trump as “King of the Jungle” over other lawmakers:
"This is from an Internet meme video depicting President Trump as the King of the Jungle and Democrats as characters from ‘The Lion King.' Please stop the fake outrage and report on something today that actually matters to the American public."
How does a person get to be the way she was by the time she was just 25?
Trump’s s opponents are as fanatical as his supporters. He could prevent a shooting on Fifth Ave., and his opponents would blame him for doing so.
ReplyDeleteThis is a lie.
DeleteHow does your comment make sense in the context of what Trump posted?
DeleteDickhead in Cal has stated his purpose for coming here is to demonstrate that Trump and his supporters are not monsters. I’m still waiting for some proof
DeleteNobody likes Fox but they have first Ammendment rights like anyone else. What exactly does Somerby think can be done about them beyond not watching?
ReplyDeleteEveryone the King Chickenshit approves of. Certainty not Don Lemon.

Deletethey have first Ammendment rights like anyone else.
DeleteNot everyone anymore.
DeleteWe have rights here in Congo! Come, come, Democrat lady! We'll give you all rights! Treat good, lady! Antifa! Come, lady, come!
Antifa is shorthand for anti-Republican Party.
DeleteYeah. Nothing to offer beyond hatred for half of the American population.
Delete' Please stop the fake outrage and report on something today that actually matters to the American public."
ReplyDeleteWhy doesn't Trump do something that actually matters to the American public, instead of incessantly spamming us with bizarre internet memes?
It's a rhetorical question, as by now everyone knows that Trump's mental faculties have markedly deteriorated.
Ilya -- Trump has done a lot of things of major importance to the American people. They may have slipped your mind because the media gives them less attention than they deserve
Delete-- closing the Southern border
-- Getting almost 3 million illegal immigrants out of the country by deporting them or persuading them to leave voluntarily
-- Switching civil service and much of the country to merit-based hiring and promotions.
-- Getting salaries to rise faster than inflation, so that people are wealthier
-- Getting Europe to pay for Ukraine's weapons, rather than the US
-- bringing peace to Gaza, at least for the time being
Dickhead of the Lists
DeleteStop cluttering the comments with these lists David.
DeleteThe American public has weighed in on their opinion of Trump, and lately it is not good. I trust them to accurately assess his impact on their lives.
Delete- Has his personal army gas US Citizens and murder them.
DeleteHow does someone get to be like Caroline Leavitt in 25 years, Somerby asks. First, you are born to Republican parents. Second, you have the Mar a Lago look and blonde hair. Third you grow up thinking that if you're nice to rich old men, you will benefit financially. Life rewards women who go along to get along, just as it does men, but in a different fashion. Then Leavitt no doubt worked her connections -- networking is what they teach young people without actual skills. There are plenty of young women like Leavitt, so she also had to have the willingness to let herself be slobbered over ("those lips, like machine guns") and fondled, in the creepy way most women her age would reject. Beyond that, she is most likely told what to say, or she repeats what she hears said around her. It is sad that she feels she has to do her job in the way she does it, but it is ultimately her choice. How did Stephen Miller get warped into his contorted shape and why doesn't Somerby ask about him? For that matter, why is Somerby always chiding female and black and gay jounalists -- why is Anderson Cooper mentioned at all?
ReplyDelete"why is Somerby always chiding female and black and gay jounalists"
DeleteIs Gutfeld female, black, or gay?
Anderson Cooper is. Why single him out today?
DeleteSo I guess Somerby criticizes men and women, blacks and whites, gays and straights — isn’t that right?
DeleteLike assholes say, anything is possible.
DeleteNo one is saying that Somerby has never criticized a white journalist, just that he disproportionately focuses on female, black and gay journalists, especially youngish ones from elite universities. No one has explained why citing someone's age should be a criticism of their writing.
DeleteBut it made no sense to criticize Anderson Cooper in this instance, so why did Somerby throw his name in there?
Your empirical claim that Somerby disproportionate criticizes minorities is almost certainly wrong. The amount of scorn he’s leveled against just Gutfeld and Watters alone no doubt dwarfs the amount he’s leveled against all minorities combined.
DeleteThis comment has been removed by the author.
DeleteImplying that Leavitt is bad because of "the way she was" is a cop-out. What aspect of Leavitt is Bob alluding to? Her ending support of the President? Every Press secretary does that. They have to.
ReplyDeleteWhat strikes me most about her is the way she handles this big job at such a young age. With the added burden of raising three young children.
Leavitt earned her way up the Republican establishment ladder by doing all the things good Republican youth do. It explains why she is willing to tell lies for the President, as Somerby wondered. It also implies she is loaded with religious fervor:
Deletehttps://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Karoline_Leavitt
This is exactly how Republican worker bees are created. Her dad is a MAGA good ole' boy, she isn't overly educated and went to a second-rate college, then was indoctrinated into the party line in every job thereafter. And she looks like she came from central casting (as required by Trump).
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Karoline_Leavitt
Why is Somerby incapable of using Google (or any other search engine)?
Yes, David. Who takes care of her three kids while she is nursing Trump?
DeleteDavid lied about her 3 kids:
Delete"As of early 2026, Karoline Leavitt has one son, Nicholas "Niko" Robert Riccio, born in July 2024. She announced in December 2025 that she is pregnant with her second child, a baby girl expected in May 2026. "
David lied about her 3 kids:

So? Is this politically incorrect, sacrilege in your BlueAnon cult?
You know, Bob, it's so incredibly easy to spare yourself from being exposed to politically incorrect content, tabooed by your cult. Repeat after me: do.not.read.Donald.Trump's.postings.on.social.networks.
That's all. Case closed.
Your continued support of a pedophile racist is precious. Posting racist content is not politically incorrect, it is deplorable, a word properly attached to clowns who consider it politically incorrect.

Shit hole country arrests 5-year olds, not pedophiles.
ReplyDeleteAn appellate court decided that the President has the power to forbid racial discrimination -- that is, to forbid treating people differently based on race. This should be obvious. In fact, I think that the Constitution and existing laws already prohibit racial discrimination. An appellate decision was necessary because a judge issued an obviously improper injunction preventing the President from ending official race discrimination.

DeleteTrump is a giant racist.
DeleteI do not like his policies, but I certainly love Trump:
Delete1) The rapist
2) The pedophile
3) The racist
4) The failed businessman who could not get a business loan in the US after 6 bankruptcies and stiffing contractors throughout his business career.
5) The crook who stole from a children's charity.
6) The author of 40,000 documented lies and counting
7) The admirer of Putin.
8) The fake university owner.
9) The biggest single contributor to the national debt in history.
10) The unabashed pardoner of drug kingpins and white collar crooks responsible for over a billion dollars in theft from investors, including lining his pockets for pardons, of which there have been over 1500.
11) The instigator of J5, who watched for hours as over 140 police were injured and Ashley Babbitt was killed after getting deep inside the capitol building while he sat and watched.
Don’t forget how he fucked up the Kennedy Center because he’s a ginormous jackass that nobody can stand. And then he just capriciously tore down an entire wing of the whitehouse without so much as a permit. He is Trump, czar of all the Russias
DeleteDon’t forget he also discovered that Tylenol causes autism.
Delete@5:10 - mostly valid complaints, but you got three wrong. Obama and Biden both increased the national debt more than Trump, although Obama had 8 years to do it. Also, Trump was a good businessman in total. He had a lot of failures, but he successes outweighed them In the net he made billions of dollars.
Delete'Trump was a good businessman in total."
DeleteA 2018 investigation by The New York Times found Trump received at least $413 million (in 2018 dollars) from his father, Fred Trump, over the course of his life."
Despite this, Trump had frittered almost all of it away until the success of The Apprentice.
He's a successful reality TV star, not a businessman (unless you consider issuing meme coins a business).
Hector - his father gave him at least $413 million. He is worth $6.5 billion, according to Forbes.
DeleteTrump was such a successful businessman that he could not get a commercial loan from a US bank.
DeleteA large percentage of Trump’s current wealth is a result of his corruption while president.
DeleteDiC,
DeleteIn 2020, Trump's net worth was estimated at $2.5 billion. If he'd gotten the $413 million in a lump sum in 1995 and then invested in stocks, he would only have needed an annual return just over 7% to get to the $2.5 billion by 2020.
But the S&P's annual return over this same period was over 11%. So Trump the shrewd businessman made far less money during that time than a little old lady who invested the same amount in the market.
But of course Trump didn't get it all in 1995, he got a great deal of it as far back as the 1970's, so his financial performance is that much worse.
After 2020, Trump's jump in wealth is from 1) marketing crypto to MAGA suckers, 2) social media stock (Truth Social, again MAGA suckers) and 3) licensing deals, which only work because of his name recognition.
So once again you've swallowed the hype without thinking. What would you do without me?
DeleteAh, the Soros-monkey envy. Counting other people's money. Typical.
Someone does the numbers and the pedo fan base gets upset. Same dumbass who doesn't understand dates at 1:02. So sad.

ReplyDeleteThanks, Trump.
Ah, since the Great Recession? So not as bad as with the "born in Kenya and raised in Indonesia and Hawaii" WH tenant.
DeleteEveryone knows the Great Recession was caused by white bankers who committed fraud at such an epidemic rate, it crashed the world's economy and it took the government (boo! hiss!) to bail it out.

DeleteNo, idiot Soros-monkey; like I said: the Great Recession is a period when the "born in Kenya and raised in Indonesia and Hawaii" fella was WH tenant.
The Great Recession lasted from 2007-2009. You can look these things up, dumbass. George Bush Jr. occupied the WH all those years. You can look that up too, dumbass. Jeez. You couldn't get dumber. Don't take that as a challenge.
DeleteIn reality, the Great Recession lasted at least until 2012. Some say till 2024 or even 2016.

DeleteWho's the dumbass now?
DeleteYou retarded Soros-bot is just a standard retarded Soros-bot. You're been told already that the Great Recession lasted at least till 2012. But trying to teach you monkeys is hopeless, of course.
You don't get to make up your own facts.
Delete"You're been told already that the Great Recession lasted at least till 2012"
DeleteThere is a technical definition of a recession under which we had one for the first 2 quarters in 2009, but not again until 2020 under Trump.
To say that there was a Great Recession that lasted until 2012 is therefore not an historical fact that we can be "told", as the trumptarded fellow above is trying rather pathetically to claim.
Another favorable court ruling for Trump
ReplyDeleteThe Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals has made a massive ruling in favor of President Trump and the ICE removal process [pdf Ruling Here]. In short, throughout the nation 360 immigration judges had previously ruled that illegal aliens (applicants for admission) should be granted bond and released during the removal proceedings.
The Fifth CCA has now ruled the aliens can be detained as they go through the removal process. This means ICE captures the illegal, holds them in detention and then rapidly deports them.
I am puzzled. I thought it was already the case that illegal aliens could be detained before being deported.

Anonymouse 1:04pm, people are forced to make these pronouncements because of you. Here's a video showing liberals bullying the staff at a yoga gym because there was no visible indication of the business's stance against ICE.
Deletehttps://m.youtube.com/shorts/Gq4efhB0bVY
I think people are making pronouncements against ICE because of Trump and his ICE enthusiasts. ICE is killing innocent people, detaining citizens, causing detainees to die in their facilities, and abusing children. Any serious business should take a stand against ICE, just as any moral person should.
DeleteThat excludes you Cecelia.

DeleteDonald Trump (2024): Won the white vote. Preliminary data indicates a continued strong performance among white working-class and rural voters.[5]
Joe Biden (2020): Lost the white vote. Despite winning the presidency, Biden received approximately 41% of the white vote, while Donald Trump received 58%.[1] [6]
Donald Trump (2016): Won the white vote. Trump secured a significant margin among white voters without college degrees, a pivotal factor in his Electoral College victory.[2] [7]
Hillary Clinton (2016): Lost the white vote. Clinton underperformed in the "Rust Belt" among white working-class demographics.[7]
Mitt Romney (2012): Won the white vote. Romney won approximately 59% of white voters, though he lost the general election.[8]
Barack Obama (2012): Lost the white vote. Obama won reelection by consolidating minority voters and winning roughly 39% of the white vote.[8]
John McCain (2008): Won the white vote. McCain secured 55% of the white vote against Obama’s 43%.[9]
Barack Obama (2008): Lost the white vote. Although he made gains in suburban areas, he did not win a majority of white voters.[9]
George W. Bush (2004): Won the white vote. Bush increased his share of the white vote to 58% during his reelection campaign.[10]
John Kerry (2004): Lost the white vote. Kerry struggled to appeal to "Security Voters" in the post-9/11 white demographic.[10]
George W. Bush (2000): Won the white vote. Bush won 54% of white voters in one of the closest elections in history.[11]
Al Gore (2000): Lost the white vote. Gore won the national popular vote but failed to secure a majority of white voters.[11]
Bob Dole (1996): Won the white vote. Despite losing the election, Dole won 46% of the white vote to Clinton's 43% (with Ross Perot taking 9%).[12]
Bill Clinton (1996): Lost the white vote. Clinton won a plurality in the general election but did not reach 50% among white voters.[12]
George H.W. Bush (1992): Won the white vote (Plurality). In a three-way race, Bush took 40% of the white vote, Clinton 39%, and Perot 20%.[12]
Bill Clinton (1992): Lost the white vote. Clinton’s victory relied on a "New Democrat" coalition that did not require a white majority.[13]
George H.W. Bush (1988): Won the white vote. Bush won a decisive 59% of the white vote against Michael Dukakis.[14]
Ronald Reagan (1984): Won the white vote. Reagan won 64% of the white vote in a 49-state landslide.[15]
Ronald Reagan (1980): Won the white vote. Reagan’s appeal to "Reagan Democrats" (white working-class voters) secured his victory.[15]
Jimmy Carter (1976): Lost the white vote. While Carter performed better among Southern whites than subsequent Democrats, Gerald Ford still won the majority of the white demographic.[16]
That's bullshit. It is about how many have brown skin. ICE is not detaining people based on their English skills.
DeleteCecelia explains racism, as if anyone needs a primer.
DeleteAnonymouse 2:20pm. ICE is detaining people who enter illegally. They came in illegally by the millions under Biden. Deporting them doesn’t help Democrats, so that’s got to stop.
DeleteAnonymouse 2:22pm, stacking the deck is a solution for white liberals. That’s your concern.
DeleteHi, Nazi bitch. President Biden negotiated true bipartisan immigration reform legislation. King Orange shitsinhispants forced republicans to abort it.

DeleteOne convenient thing about playing the race card is that you you don't need to know anything. Any ignoramus can accuse ICE of racism without knowing the law says, practical difficulties, the effect of local non-cooperation, the actions of organized anti-ICE organizations, etc. In fact, you don't even need to know the race of these Hispanic deportees.
DeleteWe oppose the ignorant self destructive policies of the orange abomination whose ass you kiss, dickhead. It’s not making our country better.
DeleteTDS also doesn't require any knowledge. To what degree are Trump's tariffs bringing manufacturing back? Is black income rising faster than inflation? Is there a way to measure how much credit Trump's policies deserve for the biggest ever drop on homicides? You don't need to take the effort to research these sorts of questions. You just know that no Trump policy did any good and every one of them caused harm.
DeleteThere is information on this thing called the internet, DiC. For example, you can inform yourself how Trump is the most corrupt man ever to occupy the White House. No TDS, just a hard fact.
DeleteTrump's own hand picked committee could find no evidence of significant voter fraud in 2016. 60 lawsuits were dismissed regarding the contention that Trump lost due to fraud. The Georgia ballots were hand counted by bipartisan counters, 3 times. And yet DiC has come on this web site hand wringing about election integrity in the service of a pedophile racist who literally asked a Georgia elections committee member to find him votes , and instigated a mob to storm the captitol. DiC lacks any integrity and he brings up issues, as you say, that he could easily research and educate himself on.

You mean when Trump imposed additional tariffs on Canada because he didn't like what Carney had to say? That's policy?
DeleteTDS: a belief that Trump is anything but a self-dealing grifter and conman. That's the real TDS. I do give Trump credit for the latest job report: 22K new jobs. That's an order of magnitude less than what's required to keep up with the population growth.
What are you going to do about it? What do you expect anyone else to do about it?
DeleteChris Christie on TV this am stated it well. The MAGAs thought that they could ignore Trump’s character, favoring his policy. They failed to realize that his character dictates policy. Any normal person would find a serial liar, rapist, pedophile and racist unfit for presidential candidacy. Not the MAGAs.
DeleteWhat is anyone supposed to do about it?
DeleteMidterms.
DeleteWhat are midterms going to solve?
Delete"You just know that no Trump policy did any good and every one of them caused harm."
DeleteAnd you know the opposite. You seem to think some Trump policy or other has lowered crime rates. Okay, what exactly are these policies? You think Trump has raised incomes above inflation. How has he done that?
You never have answers to these questions. You're as blindly ideological as the people you accuse.
This comment has been removed by the author.
DeleteThis is what's called the rooster taking credit for the dawn argument. Yes, things happened. Some of them happened to be positive. What did Trump have to do with any of that? Nothing, so far as anyone can tell.
DeleteOn the other hand, massive human rights abuses, including death and torture in the concentration camps -- yes, Trump can take credit for those.
Trump raised worker income above inflation by being pro-business. The economy is not a zero sum game. When businesses do better, their workers also do better.
DeleteTrump established a policy of removing existing regulations in exchange for any new ones. The regs that were eliminated didn't get coverage, but I think that the policy reform may be very significant. Although many individual regs are useful, the combination of many regs -- states as well as federal -- is a huge burden.
Cutting taxes including corporate income tax helped business's costs, thus reducing prices down.
I didn't like Trump's tariffs. They were dangerous. They risked starting a ruinous trade war. But, he got away with it, at least for the time being. The tariffs promoted American industry. The benefits will increase as all the new foreign investment builds new factories.
Thanks for the news that prices have come down and that the American worker is doing better. We will be sure to pass that along to the public. And the idea that “he got away with it” for the tariffs? Hahahahaha. Florida lost $52 billion and over 200,000 seasonal jobs this year thanks to the tariffs and farmers who lost overseas sales will likely stay that way for quite some time. Our trading partners and NATO don’t trust us anymore, didn’t you hear? Even if we elect someone who isn’t an untrustworthy racist pedo next go round, there’s no telling that the MAGAs won’t elect another such clown to turn on them again. No, he did not”get away with that”. You peddle nothing but MAGA garbage here. Great job numbers lately, by the way.
DeleteNational Review has an article on the scale of Trump's corruption. Here's a brief discussion on the article: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7xXm6xOwLAw
ReplyDeleteA summary statement about the contents of the print article is on their online platform. This includes the sordid relationship with the Binance fraudster, Zhau, pardoned by Trump, the amount of grift involved in the financial transactions between the UAE (connected with Zhau) and the Trump family (100X larger than any ever said to have been involved in the Hunter Biden corruption) and the complete silence from the Republican Party about this. DiC may have something to say about the National Review as a conduit of TDS. Hahahahaha.
DeleteThe UAE grift that the National Review highlights as 100X that amount the Bidens were ever accused of is only one of very many corrupt transactions that Trump and his family have engaged in this go-round. What say you to that, MAGAts?
DeleteWell, at least you're finally admitting that the Hunter grift was real and not denying it anymore.

Yes that's true. They said the grift "the Biden's were accused of".
DeleteDo you feel like you researched those accusations thoroughly? How much time did you spend on it?
1:10. What is your point? Do you have one? That NR indicated that in dollar amount the sum taken by the Trumps in their UAE grift was 2 orders of magnitude larger than the Republicans accused the Bidens of taking in their Ukrainian dealings. If you think that needs further research you can take it up with the NR.

I was talking about the Hunter accusations which are definitely true. They are caught red-handed and extremely sleazy and unethical.
But if you fags hate Trump, you should go after the UAE crypto scandal 24/7. That can really take him down after tilting it so many windmills over the years. You finally have a good one!
Don't fuck it up. Pussy fags! I have a feeling you're going to fuck it up but this is your chance.
3:43, what accusations are "definitely true", maggot?
DeleteNever mind, Hillary. You're way too retarded to understand any of this.
DeleteThat's ok, pedo apologist, I can try.
DeleteA why would anyone want to apologize for any of you Democrats, Hillary?
DeleteFrom the Epstein files:
ReplyDelete"There were no videos of any sexual abuse identified at any point in the investigation"
- "We are aware of the theories circulated in the media and online that Epstein video recorded the abuse of his victims, including by other men, but we have found no evidence to support that theory. Indeed, had we found such videos, we certainly would have used them as evidence in the criminal cases we investigated and prosecuted and would have pursued any leads they generated. We did not, however, locate any such videos."
- "During the searches of Epstein's New York residence and USVI residence in 2019, the FBI searched for videos and surveillance cameras. My understanding from the case agent is that there were no cameras found inside any bedrooms or living areas of either residence."
This shit's going to fuck up you faggot's bullshit scenarios.
"FBI concluded Jeffrey Epstein wasn’t running a sex trafficking ring for powerful men, files show"
