In the program's first two segments, Master Gutfeld, now 61 years old, led his panelists through two of the dumbest conversations we've ever seen on the air.
In the first segment, Gutfeld explained why it's OK to watch or listen to various podcasters, even those with whom you disagree. But you should never pay attention to anything said by the preposterous hacks found in the "legacy media," for example on Morning Joe.
(The conceptual devolution was instant. Warning! Brain cells at risk!)
In the second segment, Gutfeld and his hapless guests tried to sell the strangest claim about James Talarico a person could ever imagine. Whether you favor Talarico or you don't, the basic premise was utterly daft, but the messengers hurried to buy it.

To feed the Fox audience what they tune in to hear: that Biden left Trump with double digit inflation that he has brought down to 1.4%. Nice work , Donnie. That and $1.99 / gallon gas. We are riding high on Trumpenomics.
ReplyDeleteGutfeld's staff looked back 3 years to find video of Talarico saying something Gutfeld could criticize. Even then, Gutfeld could:t figure out what to do with the find. First he bashed Talarico for what he said, then bashed him for not being sincere about what he said and finally bashed him by claiming, weirdly, that he said it only because the Democratic Party was too timid to stop him from saying it. All this was wrapped around Kat Timf prattling about her own pet cat and Brianna Lyman going off about trans surgical procedures on children--completely off topic.

DeleteBREAKING: US jobs numbers have now been revised down in each of the last 13 months, by a total of -710,000 jobs.
ReplyDeleteThis means employment was initially overstated by an average of ~55,000 jobs per month.
US job numbers were revised down by another -4,000 jobs in January and -65,000 in December.
This brings the December reading down to -17,000, marking the 5th contraction over the last 9 months.
Since January 2024, there have been downward revisions in 24 out of 25 months.
US labor market data is more unreliable than ever.

The Pentagon has reportedly banned news photographers from press conferences after outlets published photographs of US Defence Secretary Pete Hegseth deemed to be “unflattering”.
Members of Mr Hegseth’s staff were apparently unhappy with the way the secretary looked in pictures taken during a briefing on the US-Israeli war against Iran on March 2, two sources told The Washington Post.
It’s not known which specific images upset staff.
The briefing – held days after Israel and the US’s joint February 28 strike on Iran which killed its Supreme Leader – was Mr Hegseth’s first in the Pentagon briefing room since June last year.
