Given that this book is #1 on the list of important philosophy books, it has certainly had an impact even if Somerby doesn't know what it is. I don't know either, but I didn't take two courses on Wittgenstein the way Somerby did.<br /><br />Why would a work be named as important in a field if it had no impact? That makes no sense.<br /><br />Sometimes the importance of a work is to inspire new lines of inquiry. New directions of exploration.
