SATURDAY: [NAME WITHHELD] is "a smelly old bag!"

SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 27, 2025

So the Fox messenger said: It would be interesting to conduct a type of word check. The question would be this:

How often are the words "Hitler" or "Nazi" spoken in the course of a day on MSNBC or CNN? Also, how often are those words spoken in the course of a day on the Fox News Channel?

We ask for the following reason:

It seems to us that we see and hear those words much more often on Fox! We hear those words as the channel's messenger children keep spreading this message around:

Current Fox News Channel message:
"The left" has inspired at least two recent deadly shootings (Charlie Kirk; the ICE facility in Dallas) because of its use of those words.

On programs of the Fox News Channel, that corporate message is currently being promulgated on a round the clock basis.

Thursday's edition of The Five started with a segment dedicated to that general message. It led to one of the dumbest statements we've ever seen on cable.

Dana Perino, the program's "den mother," was moderator for the segment. At 5:02, she played tape of President Trump saying that "the radical left is causing the problem."

At that point, Perino said this:

PERINO (9/25/25): And I just want to play this montage our team put together of anti-ICE rhetoric.

So the program's resident "den mother" said—the one who's supposed to be sane.

You can watch the montage from Perino's team simply by clicking this. Included were very short clips of longer statements by six Democratic pols.

Four of the clips took us a long way back in time. There was no way to establish a context for what was being complained about—for what was actually being said at the given point in time:

Short clips from the montage:
Gov. Tim Walz, May 17: "Donald Trump's modern-day Gestapo"
Rep. Eric Swalwell, July 16: "Running around our communities like masked bank robbers? Terrorizing women?"
Mayor Brandon Johnson, June 11: "What terrorism looks like. This is it."
Rep. Jasmine Crockett, September 14: "When I see ICE, I see slave patrols."
Rep. Eric Larson, August 17: "This is not Germany. That's the SS and the Gestapo. This is the United States. Unmask yourselves!"
Gov. Gavin Newsom. September 23: "Masked men jumping out of unmarked cars. People disappearing. No due process."

Should Democrats be talking that way? For what it's worth, we regard Rep. Crockett as the gift that won't stop giving to MAGA's mid-term hopes. We're inclined to think that Governor Walz—he's known as "Tampon" on the Fox News Channel—isn't real far behind.

That said, we'll ask again: Should Democratic office holders be using language like that?

There's no ultimate answer to that question. But we will say this:

We couldn't help noting that these clips went back a good long way in time. The montage included only two (2) statements which were made in the past month.

What specific behaviors were being discussed when these statements were made? We have no idea. There is no way to tell.

That could mean that such statements are actually fairly rare. Or it could mean that Perino's team simply grabbed the first things they could find—that they don't especially care, given the way this channel's messaging actually works.

At any rate, so the clips went. We'll note this:

"Gestapo" and "the SS" are obvious references to the disaster which swept across Europe starting in the 1930s. That said, Perino's team included no Democratic pol using the words "Nazi" or "Hitler"—but the ensuing pseudo-discussion spilled with complaints about the way "the left" won't stop throwing those terms around.

In the course of the day's pseudo-discussions, the messenger children said "Hitler" at least nine times, part of their claim that "the left" calls people that all the time. They also said "Nazi" at least four times.

In truth, you hear those words on Fox all the time. Elsewhere, perhaps not so much!

At any rate, should Democrats be more careful in the language they use? A reasonable person could say yes—but when Jessica Tarlov tried two times, within the past week, to note that President Trump speaks in similar heated ways about the Communists and fascists of the lunatic left, she was interrupted and overtalked by the corporate nitwits for whom she serves as a punching bag on these messaging panels.

Do Democrat politicians speak unwisely at times? We'd say that the answer is yes! Eventually, though, Perino's montage led to one of the dumbest things we've ever seen on cable TV, or pretty much anywhere else.

It was Perino who made the statement in question. The background goes like this:

As Gutfeld and Watters kept saying "Nazi Nazi Hitler Hitler," it fell to Tarlov to suggest that overheated rhetoric can perhaps be found in Red American locales as well.

The day before, she had been savaged by the furious Gutfeld as she attempted make such a claim. On this day, it fell to Perino to rebut Tarlov's absurd suggestion.

Breaking in on Tarlov's presentation, Perino threw to Jesse Watters, who brought the messaging back into line. Amazingly, Perino said this about her team's montage:

PERINO: [INDECPHERABLE DUE TO OVERTALKING] ...when we played the montage earlier, Jesse, there was not nobody, aside from Democrats, who were talking about anti-ICE rhetoric in that way.

What a shock! When Perino's team assembled a montage of people using aggressive rhetoric, the montage included no one other than Democrats! No Republicans were included in the montage, not even the sitting president!

Dana Perino is cast on The Five as the one who isn't nuts. That statement struck us as one of the dumbest things we've ever seen on TV—but during the program's second segment, Greg Gutfeld offered a statement which struck us as one of the most sadly typical.

The segment began with a very short excerpt from a long appearance by Hillary Clinton on Wednesday's Morning Joe. Inane messaging quickly followed.

Inevitably, Gutfeld was soon saying this:

GUTFELD:  You know, I don't know if you know this, Kennedy. That's the first time that Hillary has been on Morning Joe since the mysterious death of that intern.

OTHER PANELISTS: [Audible chuckling]

GUTFELD: I'm not saying anything, but I have to wonderwhy is this old, ugly bag still around?

KENNEDY: Don't talk about Mika that way.

GUTFELD: I mean, that is so petty. That is so petty when I call her those things. But I'm not calling her a bigot, and I'm not calling her a Nazi. I'm just saying she's old and smelly and ugly.

Hillary Clinton isn't a Nazi. She's just an ugly, smelly old bag. Why is she still around?

This was part of an absurd apologia Gutfeld launched this day—first on The Five, then on his own Gutfeld! program five hours later. He kept offering an absurd justification for his endlessly repellent behavior.

Has someone managed to get inside this very strange person's head?

We truly wish that his corporate owners would insist that he get some help. We feel sure that he could do better than this.

That said, ugly messaging of this type is part of this channel's stock in trade. The most reprehensible people of all are the finer people at the major Blue orgs who refuse to report this ceaseless "night assault" on the very possibility of the American project.

Watters may have made the most striking statement of all this day. What he said was flatly false. He was falsely responding to Tarlov. His statement was clownishly false.

We'll have more on this chaos next week—but as we told you long ago, it's all anthropology now. There is no obvious way to extract ourselves from this mess.

Thank God for Fox News, the only mainstream media channel competing with all the rest -- Democrat-owned totalitarian mainstream media -- and challenging them and their totalitarian-controlled and maintained narratives.

  2. ""Gestapo" and "the SS" are obvious references to the disaster which swept across Europe starting in the 1930s."

Disaster sweeping Europe could be bad weather or crop failure or a locust swarm. This use of passive language coupled with the non-specific "disaster" is how Somerby sanitizes Hitler's regime. That disaster was a war initiated by Adolf Hitler, assisted by Mussolini and appeased by the Allies until Hitler's intention to take over all of Europe could no longer be denied. That war was the action of a tyrant who did horrible things, including subjecting his own people and eliminating both Jews and people considered undesirable in Hitler's eugenicist regime.

Somerby's attempt to remove Hitler's intentionality from the war Hitler and the Nazis conducted deliberately and with malice, is offensive to all of us, a ridiculous form of propaganda.

The examples given by Fox are not of comparisons of Trump to Hitler but of comparisons of ICE to Nazi suppression of human rights. But who created the Gestapo? Hitler and his Nazi staff. And who has created ICE? Trump and his staff, including Noem, Miller, and Homan. These are bad people today and Hitler's executioners were bad people during WWII (and before the fighting started, when children and disabled people were being systematically killed in hospitals and institutions, while Hitler's political enemies were being killed in camps).

We are not concerned about ugly messaging but about ugly deeds being implemented by ugly people, in the same mode as occurred in Hitler's Germany and his occupied neighboring countries. Soft-peddling what is happening under Trump in the name of preventing stochastic terrorism is ridiculous when the main domestic terrorism is coming from Trump's own government. As in Nazi Germany.

The goal of suppressing criticism of Trump's government is not the same as suppressing violence against politicians. It seems to me that those telling the left to stop calling Trump another Hitler is aimed at stifling dissent, where as the goal of reducing violence should involve discussion of gun control and hate speech, coupled with increased funding for mental health treatment. None of that is happening on the right, only the left. Meanwhile, Fox seems to be working hard to prevent comparisons between the right wing excesses that produced Hitler, and today's right wing orgy of violation of the rights of American citizens.

If ICE were not behaving like a gestapo, it might be argued that comparisons to Hitler were extreme, but the extremism of ICE's behavior and the drooling viciousness of Noem and the right make the comparisons apt, the danger evidence, and the call to opposition urgent and justified.

If Fox doesn't want ICE to be called a gestapo and Trump to be called Hitler, they should examine their own behavior and clean up their act. That isn't going to happen because this domestic terrorism is intentional and part of their plan to take power that undermines democracy. As long as that is true, these calls for restraint by the right are helping the bad guys do bad deeds. That means they should be ridiculed, not heeded. Somerby is correct that Fox is in the wrong, but Somerby is incorrect about this:

"The most reprehensible people of all are the finer people at the major Blue orgs who refuse to report this ceaseless "night assault" on the very possibility of the American project."

The "night assault" is coming from ICE, not the silly voices on Fox. The main danger is not Somerby's "most reprehensible finer people at major blue orgs" but the new Hitler sitting in the White House giving carte blanche to Miller and those who want to change the fundamental character of our American project (as Somerby calls democracy, unable to speak the word that protects our freedom).

    11. Quaker, read a dictionary:

disaster definition: "a sudden event, such as an accident or a natural catastrophe, that causes great damage or loss of life"

First, WWII and Hitler's Germany was not a sudden event. Second, it was not an accident and not a natural catastrophe but deliberately enacted by Hitler and his cronies. It did result in great loss of life but the damage done to Germany was done by the Allies to end Hitler's regime. Arguably, it improved things for Germany and Europe in the long run, if not for Hitler personally.

The word disaster is wrong because it minimizes the extent of Hitler's actions, implies that they were not deliberate and the result of evil, and makes it seem like it could happen anywhere and only happened accidentally to Germany. None of that is true.

So, Somerby is casting the wrong light on Nazi Germany and Hitler, using a word that does not capture what actually happened. Why Somerby does that is anyone's guess, but it is what he did with his word choice.

Calling me weird or crazy doesn't change Somerby's odd stance on what Hitler did. You tell me why Somerby would want to pretend that Hitler's long planned acts (read Mein Kampf and the history of Hitler's reich) were sudden, accidental, or an act of nature.

We remember what Hitler did in order to prevent it from ever happening again. When guys like you and Somerby "forget" that opens the door to neo Nazis to try to rehabilitate Hitler, say he was good for the world, on the right track, and other garbage that truly will be destructive to our nation and the world. I didn't have you pegged as a fascist sympathizer, Quaker, because I remember the kinds of things you used to post. But fascist is as fascist does, and that includes Somerby.

  3. Orwell talked about the way language is used by authoritarians to convince people that up is down. The right is more reprehensible in its support of Trump, ICE, and fascism than anyone on the left, finer people or not. The right is destroying what we have built as a nation and making our country a laughing stock and a danger to others. Using their complaints about Hitler comparisons (which are criticisms of Trump) to malign the left is Somerby's participation in Fox's campaign on behalf of the right. Somerby thinks the left should complain more about Fox but we on the left think it is more important to attack the perpetrators of today's govt takeover, Trump and his accomplices.

What if Hitler's enemies had attacked the the newspaper Völkischer Beobachter ("The People's Observer"), the official paper of the Nazi Party, Der Sturmer (and other propaganda organs) instead of fighting a war against Hitler himself? Would WWII have been won or lost? I think the answer is obvious.

If Somerby wants to see the left's attack on Fox, he can read Media Matters for America, Fairness and Accuracy in Reporting (FAIR), Politifact, Right Wing Watch (People for the American Way) and similar sources. They manage to counter Fox's propaganda without repeating Gutfeld's jokes and other right wing content the way Somerby does.

  4. Does anyone in their right mind think that Hillary calling the right "deplorables" would have caused anyone to act violently against right wing politicians? Yet her mild statement was repeated by the right itself so often that you'd think they'd said it themselves. At the time, Somerby joined the right in castigating Hillary for her school-marmish and totally accurate off-hand remark in an interview on the campaign trial.

If the left cannot say "deplorable" without the right making hay, what can we say about the abuses of Trump and his minions? Nothing accurate. ICE is a modern day gestapo, in all sense of the word except being German.

The point of language is to communicate. Deplorable doesn't do the job when describing Republicans. But gestapo does accurately and succinctly communicate what ICE is and why it must be opposed.

The right does not complain in good faith about lefty language. The guy who shot at the ICE van killed two detainees, not any ICE agents. Reports are that he fired indiscriminately at the van. No ICE personnel were injured, much less killed. The shooter killed himself, but now we are being told that ICE was his target because he hated the government.

There is no doubt that the right weaponizes left speech to attack our politicians. They also, quite obviously, attempt to turn any crackpot shooting into a motivated left wing attack on the right, whether it is or not. Given that the left cannot say or do anything without being attacked by the right, what do we have to lose by telling the truth about Trump, ICE, and the right's destruction of democracy? Even Somerby uses Fox as a whipping post to blame the left for mild speech, once again repeating right wing criticisms from Fox while pretending to criticize them but ultimately claiming that the left is worse. How does that help anything?

I wish Hillary had been more forceful in her language. I find it a relief when I heard Democrats tell the truth about what is happening to our country. Now is not the time to stop.

  5. Hitler had assassination plots against him too. Some came from within his own army. Too bad they didn't succeed. Germans didn't have the alternative of a political system that could have voted Hitler out (once he had declared himself dictator). We are at a critical juncture because our democracy is under attack but still functioning. We need to remove Trump's threat to our democracy by voting against the extremist right and restoring Republican politicians who abhor corruption and believe in our nation and our system. That isn't anyone connected to Trump. Meanwhile, we will continue to campaign and vote and try to protect fair districting and free elections via the courts and protests. It is when such measures fail that violence becomes the only recourse.

It sounds like Fox et al. want to suppress left wing free speech, which includes name-calling and allusions to Hitler and gestapo and Nazis. Telling us not to speak freely about the current state of our country is not the way to produce fewer shootings. The right needs to rethink its efforts to disenfranchise people because if they deny such voices, they will use other, less desirable means to communicate their needs.

Connect the dots. More street violence is what happens when people are suppressed through state violence.

Also Digby, Tiedrich, Simon Rosenberg, left wing podcasts such as David Pakman and Meidas Touch, Pod Save America, blogs such as Driftglass, Marcy Wheeler.

Why does Somerby never read, much less quote any of the left wing sources who are resisting both Fox and what Trump has been doing?

    BalasPadam
  7. Tiedrich talks about free speech today. While Fox hosts are telling the left to tone it down, here is a right wing influencer urging the opposite approach:

"wingnut influenceista Isabella Moody has a simple plan for increasing her popularity. [she says:]

“fuck you. literally go f yourself. you’re gay, words don’t hurt, let’s stop continuing this narrative. literally, I cannot stand it … part of who I am is pushing the boundaries. don’t tell me what I can or cannot say. literally years ago, I had a calendar on my wall, in my apartment. the only thing I had written down was ‘say n****r more.’”

    that’s … that’s your plan?

um, Isabella? Samuel L. Jackson would like to have a word.

please, Izzy, I beg of you. walk into any grocery store in Harlem and exercise your free speech — and then report back [to] us. I for one, cannot wait to hear how things went.

you gotta love these ‘free speech absolutists.’ who insist that they get to vomit out all the ugly slurs they want. ‘words don’t hurt’ — that’s exactly what she said. at the same time, I’ll bet Isabella would go positively ape-shit if she heard me call Charlie Kirk a misshapen garden gnome.

let’s see how Isabella’s awesome plan is working out for her.

"Jewtube has me in a little timeout."

oh, it’s JewTube now, is it? Izzy’s such a charmer. she makes friends everywhere she goes. but please, don’t put the blame for your self-inflicted troubles on me, Iz. I was on chemtrails duty this week."

So, this week on Fox it is time to call out libs for their violence-inciting language while elsewhere right-wingers like Isabella Moody are standing firm on their right to be as disgusting toward others as they please.

Somerby has always resented being called names such as racist or sexist, but these labels are not just language but refer back to behavior that does have impact and consequences for others. Trump's behavior matters and it is hard to talk about it without the right words.

  8. Speaking of bad language used by the right to malign Democrats, Yastreblansky presents this:

"[from a tweet] JD Vance is now using the term "blood libel" to describe criticism of ICE, saying, "The Democrats and the media -- because they so hate the idea of a real border -- are engaging in a kind of blood libel against ICE."

    [Yastreblansky continues:]

"That’s not a very good choice of imagery, JD. I wouldn’t expect you to know, because I wouldn’t expect you to know much about these things, though you went to Princeton, but “blood libel” is a technical term in the history of Jewish people in medieval Europe, who were treated as dangerous foreigners, with their strange languages and strange religion, barred from various occupations, and confined to ghettos and shtetels where they lived segregated from the Christian population, and victimized by a particularly horrible myth; that Jews would steal Christian babies from their parents’ houses and kill them, for their blood, which the Christians supposed was used for some kind of magical ritual—like the making of Passover matzoh, the weird Jewish analogue to the Christian communion wafer (historically it was the other way around: the communion wafer, the symbolic Lord’s Supper, being modeled from the unleavened flatbread, matzoh, that Jesus would have eaten at his Last Supper, a Passover seder with his followers, telling them, according to the Gospel, that it was his own flesh, and the wine they were drinking was his own blood).

This was a typical example of the dreadful lies that brought about the persecutions in which Christian peasants or townsmen periodically slaughtered Jews by the dozens and hundreds and thousands, and served as precursors to the 19th-century pogroms of eastern Europe and the 20th-century Shoah, the Nazis’ “final solution” to the “Jewish question”.

It’s like the ancestor of all antisemitism, born out of the story that the Jews, as a collectivity, murdered God’s own baby, his only-begotten son, which in the terrible history of antisemitism is the fons et origo.

ICE, in contrast, is a national police force that attacks ghettosful of aliens, and the story of their violence against the presumed foreigners is no libel, but attested in cell phone videos from all over the country. We’ve seen them knocking women to the ground and tearing children and their parents apart. If you’re looking for a blood libel, you can find something like it in the words of *checks notes* Vice President JD Vance, in the 2024 campaign, spreading the false story that Haitians fleeing from the murderous violence of Port-au-Prince and living completely legally in Ohio under Temporary Protected Status had taken to killing and eating their neighbors’ pet cats and dogs. Vance basically admitted that he had no citable evidence but claimed he needed to tell the story anyway, on the weird grounds that the mere presence of the Haitians in town was causing the good (white) citizens of Springfield some kind of “suffering” that couldn’t be described, only communicated, apparently, by lying about it..."

    9. Too many legal immigrants and citizens are being illegally detained and held for weeks before being released, sometimes without relatives and lawyers having no idea where they are.

      Padam
    10. @1:26 has a good point. Earlier generations of immigrants were invited to our country, their fares paid, to work in factories, homes and in New England textile mills. In the 20th century, immigrants were invited as farmworkers, supplied with housing and given transportation as braceros. Our country has a long history of inviting immigrants to help us build the most prosperous nation in the world. That all ended when the right wing decided to set aside the attitudes of Nixon and Reagan and declare immigrants undesirable, for political gain. They became the new scapegoats, Trump's version of Hitler's Jews, so that the right could stoke hate.

Did criminal immigrants come here in the past? Of course they did. They were deported by England and Ireland as undesirables, transported in lieu of prison. Those receiving them profited from their unpaid labor until their sentences were served, in a kind of indentured servitude (akin to slavery). We also have a history of mistreating immigrants by calling them criminals for being poor and starving.

It is sad that the people who worked to keep our borders under control are now being asked to work alongside the criminals being attracted by ICE bonuses and free reign to abuse anyone they want. Those thugs are the real criminals. What was once a position of service at our borders has become a shameful job that no one will do unmasked because they do not want anyone to know what they are being forced to do, or anyone to see the pleasure some of them are taking in bullying with impunity.

This is a sad time, as we are discovering that our fellow Americans in rural and Southern areas are people we wouldn't knowingly want as neighbors. Am I talking about immigrants now? No, MAGAts.

    1. The shooter of Charlie Kirk was a Mormon MAGA internet gamer and perhaps Groyper who was in love with a transwoman or gay man. It seems most likely that he was radicalized by Kirk's own hate speech directed toward his lover and by intolerant attitudes among his family and others at school or work. None of that has anything to do with Democrats or liberals or the left. The shooter was not in any sense a "Democrat fascist pervert".

After someone engages in a shooting, it is facile to go back and define him as something arising from the left merely because he has shot someone who is right wing. That doesn't make it true. It grossly oversimplifies the complexity of our world in which extremists in particular may have incomprehensible views and a distorted perception of reality that drives them to shoot someone else. This applies especially to those who engage in shootings to gain notoriety or approval of an online peer group that encourages violence. These don't map well onto existing political categories.

Gov Walz, as governor, signed a law written and passed by legislators to put FREE tampon/pad machines in all bathrooms used by menstruating people. The inclusive language of the bill (which Walz did not write) was exploited and misrepresented by the right for political gain. The goal was to make sure the products were available at no cost to students, not to create men's rooms user-friendly for transmen.

There have been Democrats on Maher's show. They are apparently chopped liver. He is asking why top Democrats don't appear. For one thing, they have nothing to gain and a lot to lose by doing so. Maher is not a serious person or a deep thinker, so there is little possibility of dialog. He fawns over his Republican guests but is unlikely to do so with AOC or Clintons. Maher knows that Republicans only go on his show because they know he will treat them with kid gloves. Maher's fan base does not include Clinton or AOC supporters -- we tend to loathe Maher. Appearing on his show would appear to be a sell-out to us. He will ask "gotcha" questions and try to embarrass actual Democrats and provide no advantage politically from the exposure. Meanwhile, the right wing will crow.

  30. While Somerby rants about Gutfeld, this is what is happening in the real world. Tiedrich continues:

"Heather Cox Richardson, please explain to the nice people just how much Donny is once again overreacting.

'Zane Sparling, Fedor Zarkhin, and Zaeem Shaikh of The Oregonian/OregonLive compiled a timeline of protests against the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement building in Portland. They noted that the last arrest of protesters by Portland police was on June 19, bringing the total to 25, and the last arrest by federal officers was on July 4, bringing the total to 22.'

that’s right: in a city of roughly six hundred thousand people, a tiny handful of protesters have been arrested — and none in the last two months. just as in Los Angeles, the protests were never that big to begin with, and had pretty much burned themselves out long before there was any “need” for federal intervention.

oh, and in Portland, we have a new, awesome twist: Donny’s own ICE goons are the ones instigating the confrontations.

A Portland Police Bureau assistant chief said in court recently that federal police were “instigating” some of the clashes between officers and protesters outside the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement building in South Portland.

Other records reveal police were aware of — and concerned about — potential excessive use of force by federal police as early as mid-June.

so, here we are, with another city about to be invaded by our own military, so they can put down non-existent protests that have already burnt themselves out — and that were instigated in the first place by Donny’s own storm troopers.

wherever our founders are right now, they’re shitting their breeches — because who can forget this line from that obsolete old document, the Declaration of Independence?

“For Quartering large bodies of armed troops among us.”

that was one of our founders’ grievances against England’s tyrannical King George: an armed military presence in their cities.

two and a half centuries ago, the colonists had to rebel against a mad king — and now, today, we have to endure this tyranny shit all over again."

    1. Somerby isn't actually ranting about Gutfeld. He is quoting Gutfeld and saying that Blue America is WORSE than Gutfeld, which justifies Gutfeld's nastiness.

      Padam
    2. "and saying that Blue America is WORSE"

If that's what he is saying, he's exactly right. Whatever Gutfeld may have said, it's a million times better than anything any Democrat says every day.

Thank God for Fox News, the only mainstream channel not subservient to the idiot-Democrat establishment.

  31. Another Trump University Law School Graduate Speaks Out

"Speaker Mike Johnson (R-La.) said on Sunday that there are “many things” for which former FBI Director James Comey could have faced charges, but said the statute of limitations had expired on those other allegations."

Gee, if the statute of limitations has run out, Comey's crimes must have occurred during Trump I. But then why wouldn't he have been indicted back then?

That's a question for all you MAGA legal eagles out there.

    1. Good question, Hector. Trump's answer might be that during his first terms, his appointees were not all loyal to him. In this term he certainly valued loyalty over any other virtue.

    2. What I would like to see, is passing a law that temporarily removes the statute of limitations for these crimes, just like what they did in NY, to lawfare Trump.

The only thing is, Comey is not worth it, probably. To get Obama and/or Clinton, yes, definitely, but Comey is too small a fish.

    3. There is a mistaken belief that the statute of limitations was raised for E. J. Carroll. Actually, there was no criminal prosecution of Trump for raping her, due to the statute of limitations. That is why she sued him in civil court for defamation and libel when he said that she was lying about what he did. She won two civil defamation cases against Trump because she was able to establish that he committed the sexual abuse she was alleging and that he was denying, calling her a liar.
