The happiest time of the year is approaching: Now that Tax Day is moving behind us, that happiest time of the year is approaching fast.

Next week, we’ll kick off our fourth annual semi-annual fund-raising drive. Our fourth semi-annual drive, in fifteen years at this post!

As we do, we’ll be establishing plans for the coming year. We expect to list four separate points of emphasis for the coming year, at least one of which will involve a return to a closer monitoring of Fox.

Today, we’re just giving our seventeen readers a bit of a heads-up. Some of you will want to liquidate holdings or adjust wills in anticipation of next week’s event. Meanwhile, the cost of maintaining our sprawling campus has never been higher.

Why don’t we tell you about our vacations? Because we never take any! Granted, our revelations have no effect on the world, a point we’ll discuss in more detail as our kick-off week approaches.

But tomorrow is always another day, as Scarlett or somebody said.

We wouldn’t ask if there wasn’t a need. At Downton Abbey, costs have risen. So too with the maintenance of the analysts here on our sprawling campus!

Meanwhile, it's Patriots’ Day in Boston. Most fun (Red Sox) game of the year!

Update: One minute later, Andrew Bailey has already blown the save.

Later update: What we meant to say was this:

Masterfully, Bailey maneuvered to nail down an impressive win.
