BREAKING: We'll be posting early this afternoon!

 FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 26, 2025

It's one of those medical Fridays: You're right! It's the third Friday in the three-week cycle again!

We'll post about healing—and about "the storm"—early this afternoon.

    1. If you're wishing him good luck for routine care, what will you say if something serious happens? Diabetic foot care is a bitch, so is that Ozempic shot, or steroid injection for knee pain. Good luck taking Uber to your appointment, dramatically enhanced for maximum sympathy.

Why is a supposed liberal clutching that right wing meme, "the storm," to his bosom as if it were anything but another tantrum. There will be no healing on the left until Trump leaves office. No one owes the right wing apologies because a right wing disturbed kid attacks the wrong target and gets one of theirs instead of one of ours in his sights.

Our nation's healing has nothing to do with Somerby's elder care appointments, no matter how they are spaced. Why does Somerby never speak about the atrocities but only about the left's complicity in things we have nothing to do with?

    2. Hard pill if that's what you mean. Trump wasn't right about everything but he was right about the worst things. Americans can't believe it because we still trusted democratic institutions even while they were looted and corrupted in broad daylight. The Russia collusion hoax is worse than Watergate and it's not close. Now they're defending cold blooded murder and lying about the murderer and his radicalizers. The only people who still back that party of destruction are either deeply evil or completely out of touch.

    3. Russia collusion was not a hoax. Get back to us when Donald J Chickenshit testifies under oath and faces a jury.

    4. Russia collusion was not a hoax because Trump didn't testify under oath? I hope that's not what you're trying to assert. Because that would be really embarrassing.

  4. Doubling Down on Stupid: the Trump Legacy

"A person familiar with the discussions within the Trump administration about the $20 billion loan to Argentina, indicated Milei’s star has dimmed in some corners in the administration.

“Milei is done politically, his sister is corrupt, his finance minister is an insider trader, and they have pissed away $15 billion in IMF money and $15 billion in central bank reserves propping up a crap currency, and now Treasury wants American taxpayers to double down on stupid,” the person said."

    1. He sounds like Trump’s kind of guy.

    2. The quote makes no sense. If indeed "Treasury wants American taxpayers to double down on stupid" (Soros-bot for "give the $20B loan to Milei"), then how does it indicate that "Milei’s star has dimmed in some corners in the administration"?

Sounds like a usual TDS word-salad.

    3. ...in some corners in the administration...

You are one dumb sonofabitch maggot.

    4. 11:21 Do please explain the strategery of gifting Argentina $20 B, more than the funds saved by starving hundreds of thousands of children? I hear it was because the idiot danced with Elon and the chainsaw. Ignorant goobers, but killers of the innocent at the same time.

    5. Well trumptard, I'm going to go slow here so turn Newsmax down for a few minutes and try to focus.

The quote distinguishes between Treasury and 'some corners of the administration'. Treasury is not the entirety of the administration. There are non-Treasury 'corners of the administration'.

To sum up: Soros-bot Scott Bessent wants to double down on stupid and do the loan, but at least one other person not named in the quote but who isn't Scott Bessent, doesn't.

      Okay, time for Spongebob.

    7. Like I said, Soros-bot: the quote that you posted makes no sense. The story in that quote is: the administration gives $20 billion to Argentina, end of story.

Now 12:27 adds some irrelevant and meaningless bullshit about someone unnamed supposedly saying something about someone else unnamed. If that makes you happy, you're special. Come back to me when you get some additional IQ points. You'll need to add at least 50, it sounds like.

    8. But trumptard, 'double down on stupid' was worth the price of admission, as a metaphor not only for the loan but for virtually everything Trump does.

But 'end of story'? Not so fast. Argentina has the 7th highest debt to GDP ratio in the world with a lengthy history of international debt defaults.

This 'loan' is made at a time when the US faces a deficit crisis of monumental proportions requiring us to fire weather forecasters and rip the peanut paste from the hands of starving children (talk to David-in-Cal for confirmation).

Surely this is part of the story, too?

    9. Hector, who are you trying to convince? And what are you trying to convince them of? And what do you think your chances of success will be?

      Delete
    10. Obviously the chance of success is zero.

    11. Yes, Soros-bot, to a normal, rational person "the administration gives $20 billion to Argentina" is the story. We'll see, later, what comes out of it; how it works out.

But of course to an idiot Soros-bot there's only one story, always the same, and it's "Orange man bad."

So, again, get back to me when your obtain more IQ points and become capable of grasping other concepts.

  6. Tiedrich says:

"when it came time for the worthless scribblers of the corporate-controlled media to ask their questions, one thing everyone wanted to know was who will Donny be persecuting next?

“Soros is a name certainly that I keep hearing. I don’t know, but Soros is a name that I hear. I hear a lot of different names. I hear names of some pretty rich people that are radical left people. maybe I hear about a guy named Reid Hoffman.”

‘maybe I hear about a guy’? this isn’t how presidents talk. this is how mobsters talk. this is the kind of thing Tony Soprano would say — and we know what happens when Tony ‘maybe hears about a guy.’

you gotta love the way Donny pretends that all this political witchhuntery is going on around him, and he’s got nothing to do with it. he’s just hearing things.

it’s called plausible deniability, and it’s the one thing Roy Cohn and Donny’s own tyrant Klansman father taught Donny well. if it’s something that could one day come back to bite you in a court of law, shut the fuck up about it. never talk about it directly. you. know. nothing.

it could be anything. it could be something, like, let’s say, oh I don’t know — bringing the full weight of the government’s legal apparatus against people who’ve pissed you off."

Somerby is just as indirect, but probably hiding different things, albeit they are both obviously trying to evade personal responsibility for saying stuff.

‘Primarily, at this time, there is no evidence to indicate that he was taken by 4 Hispanic men in a light-colored van. It is possible that he left the incident location on a black bicycle with a red and grey tent, which he purchased at Walmart”
