On the nation's top "cable news" program: What is Red America being told about Minnesota's sprawling fraud scandal?
It's an ongoing topic within Silo Red, even addressed by the president. Over here, within Silo Blue, the topic is being disappeared.
This one of the ways we're being transformed into dueling America(s). That said, what are the facts about this matter, to the extent that the facts may be known?
You're asking an excellent question! But we're headed off for a whirl at the medical mission, and we expect to be off campus for the bulk of the day.
Our rumination on those questions will continue, either tomorrow or Monday. For now, we thought you might like to get a glimpse of the state of our failing nation's failing culture—a glimpse of our flailing nation's institutional IQ.
Yesterday afternoon, we settled in to watch the nation's most-watched "cable news" program. It was 5 p.m. here in the east—time for the start of The Five!
On came a familiar figure. When we return this afternoon, we'll show you the very first thing this silly, sad boy sadly said.
We'll even report what the chyron said! If you want to check for yourself, you can just click here.
Can a very large modern nation expect to survive the effects of this influential, low-IQ regime? As Springsteen said in "My Hometown," go ahead:
"Take a good look around."
Try to ignore the president's sliding polls. In addition to the ongoing state of play, what sorts of additional decisions / disasters may perhaps / possibly come?
Please. No touchdown dances when children from Southern states die of preventable diseases, like the measles.
ReplyDeleteIt makes the Cecelia's of the world have a sad.
The leopards Republicans voted for, eating the faces of their children, is what we live for.
DeleteKilling off future generations of Southern bigots, is the end game of the Powell memo, and all great Americans are here for it.
DeleteGood timing.
DeleteI was starting to get bored with the video of Charlie Kirk being shot in the neck, after watching it 2,000+ times.
I'm glad the GOP gave us something else to point and laugh at.
Watching people on the Right suffer, will never not be funny.
DeleteTriggered Hillarys whining about how the Left relishes watching the Right suffer in 3...2...1...
DeleteHow feckless are idiot Rethugs who can't even muster the common sense to block a dangerously idiotic man from running our nations health care. A man who under oath said, and I quote, "when it comes to healthcare, I am a complete fucking idiot, but I do have experience killing kids." But on the plus side he cheats repeatedly on his wives, so he has Trumpian family values.
DeleteMeasles were eradicated. Making America sick again. What a bunch of idiots. BTW, old people shots may no longer work. If you get measles your immune system resets. All your defenses from previous illness and vaxes are gone. Fucking morons and weirdos, the whole lot of you. 36%hahaha.
DeleteFun guessing game: How many times is RFK Jr. mentioned in the Epstein files?
DeleteFun guessing game: How many children has RFK Jr. already killed?
Delete
ReplyDelete"In addition to the ongoing state of play, what sorts of additional decisions / disasters may perhaps / possibly come? "
Don't worry, Bob, the swamp will be drained, Soros death-cult will collapse, and everything will turn out fine.
Right after Trump releases all the Epstein Files.
DeleteLOL.
It is going to take a long time to extricate all of Putin's cronies from our deep state. Probably best to hang Trump after his treason conviction to set an example. I mean, hanging was good enough for Pence, why not his boss?
DeleteThe swamp will not be drained until Trump receives enough participation trophies to line the ballroom.
Delete"It's an ongoing topic within Silo Red, even addressed by the president. Over here, within Silo Blue, the topic is being disappeared."
ReplyDeleteWhy should the left feel compelled to repeat right wing propaganda?
"Yesterday afternoon, we settled in to watch the nation's most-watched "cable news" program. It was 5 p.m. here in the east—time for the start of The Five!"
ReplyDeleteWhy does Somerby inflict this on himself? We can only conclude that he likes watching such shows. No self-respecting Democrat would do this.
Could it be because he's a media commentator? Could that be why?
DeleteSee the mathead up above: 'musings on the mainstream press corps.'
The Five aren’t the mainstream press corps.
Delete11:18,
DeleteNo one is that delusional.
"Can a very large modern nation expect to survive the effects of this influential, low-IQ regime? As Springsteen said in "My Hometown," go ahead:
ReplyDelete"Take a good look around."
Springsteen was not talking about Somerby's complaints in his song. This is yet another example of Somerby "borrowing" other people's words, taking them entirely out of context, and using another person's fame to add weight to his own thoughts. Springsteen would likely approve of very little that Somerby says and is not endorsing Somerby's wretched mess of words here. His name does not belong next to a quote that is in no way related to Somerby's next promised stupidity.
"Bruce Springsteen opposed Trump using his song "Born in the U.S.A." at Trump's political rallies in 2016. Rather than take legal action, he openly announced his support for Trump's opponent, Hillary Clinton, and campaigned in support of her."
Delete"Jun 18, 2025 — Bruce Springsteen called President Donald Trump a "moron" and said that the country is an "American tragedy" under his leadership."
From USA Today: "Bruce Springsteen, the outspoken blue-collar rocker who's taken aim at President Donald Trump in recent years, criticized the president and his supporters in an interview with Time magazine published Thursday, Sept. 25.
"A lot of people bought into his lies," Springsteen, 76, told the magazine. "He doesn't care about the forgotten anybody but himself and the multibillionaires who stood behind him on Inauguration Day." Trump's association with tech industry magnates, including Elon Musk and Mark Zuckerberg, has been scrutinized and nicknamed the "broligarchy."
"You have to face the fact that a good number of Americans are simply comfortable with his politics of power and dominance," the singer added.
Springsteen, who's long sung about the struggles of the working class, initially shied away from political commentary during Trump's first presidential term, telling Variety in 2017 that "I'm ambivalent about … sort of getting on a soapbox. I still believe people fundamentally come to music to be entertained."
"For Springsteen, President Trump's time in the Oval Office may be up.
"He's the living personification of what the 25th Amendment and impeachment were for," Springsteen told Time magazine. "If Congress had any guts, he'd be consigned to the trash heap of history."
The 25th Amendment, an article in the U.S. Constitution, addresses what happens if the president or vice president dies, resigns, becomes incapacitated or is otherwise unable to fulfill their duties, including the possible removal of the president from office."
Bruce Springsteen has more guts than Somerby and would not condone Somerby's wishy washy refusal to draw the obvious conclusions about Trump's fitness for office and the need to remove him ASAP.
Man-up, anonymices. You’ll get thru it, kiddos.
ReplyDeleteSee how the troll (a man pretending to be a woman online) tries to make this all about "herself" by taunting those here who have been poiinting out "her" deception. She thinks it is funny to mock transpeople with a phrase such as "man-up". This is how an awful person spends time online.
DeleteTrolls have been diagnosed with the dark triad of personality traits: narcissism, sociopathy, and machivellianism. Somerby displays those same traits regularly in his essays. He can perhaps use his personal copy of the DSM to explain them here to his readers. It is the main reason why he is here every day spewing right wing garbage while claiming to be liberal (his own deception, like Cecelia's) in order to "own" those who object that his essays make no sense at all. These are his own emperor's new clothes. Those who read him can be mocked and those who object can be mocked too, and his negative, dark personality traits will be triggered while he snickers into his sleeve. Just as Cecelia tries to do this morning.
Look how Somerby inflates the importance of his own doctor appointments by calling them "medical missions"! Both Somerby and Cecelia are truly pathetic.
Anonymouse 10:49am, oh, I wasn’t mocking transwomen. Just you.
DeleteOnly anonymouse such can read a whole board of angry insults and slurs and then accuse someone else of being cruel in telling them to quit bellyaching. Dingbat.
"Look how Somerby inflates the importance of his own doctor appointments by calling them "medical missions"!"
DeleteJesus, you have a tin ear.
Anonymouse 11:19am, she doesn’t have a tin ear. She has a political objective/animus.
DeleteHe is having diabetic foot care, having an infusion of some medicine, attending therapy, any of a number of treatments for chronic conditions of aging. Just like Trump is having. Inflating that into some sort of mission, just as he used to call his corporate gigs "missions of national importance" when he talked about them, is grandiose. So is referring one's home as a campus with research assistants and constantly referring to himself using an editorial or royal "we" instead of saying "I" like normal people do. He displays his grandiosity daily in dozens of word choices, which is what narcissistic people do, when they aren't hanging gold leaf ornaments around the house and pretending to have accomplished fake things.
DeleteThat isn't humor. It is a psychiatric condition.
DeleteThank you 10:49. Spot on.
DeleteI appreciate Corby's comments. They are the best.
DeleteAnd I sniff my fingers.
I am Corby.
Immigrant cultures are not all the same.
ReplyDeleteWhistleblower warns massive fraud is happening in Ohio Somali community, Minnesota ‘just tip of the spear’
Ohio attorney Mehek Cooke said, 'What we're seeing in Minneapolis is just a snippet of what's happening in Ohio'
In MN, Nearly every Somali household with children (89 percent) receives some form of welfare.
https://www.foxnews.com/politics/whistleblower-warns-massive-fraud-happening-ohio-somali-community-minnesota-just-tip-spear
https://cis.org/Report/Somali-Immigrants-Minnesota
Nearly every household with children in the US, including non-immigrants, receives some form of welfare.
DeleteFor one thing, they all get a tax deduction for each child, that childless people do not get. They get free lunches or milk and cookies at naptime in their schoolrooms, regardless of income. Milk and similar WIC commodities are price-controlled because families with children need that nutrition, and again there is no concern over whether these are immigrant families or citizens with children consuming that milk. Playgrounds are free in most cities. There are even child prices (subsidies) at the movies. Child fares on transportation. Free public schools. So many ways that we provide welfare to ALL American families with children, regardless of income or immigration status.
But David in Cal laps up these propagandistic statements he finds on Fox, believing that Somalis are uniquely frauds with their fake children getting welfare that they don't deserve. I'm surprised he didn't mention that they all drive around in cadillacs too.
There's a caravan of Somalias crawling up your brain, Dickhead in Cal. Who is the gov of Ohio?
Delete@1055 - I didn't say these people don't deserve their welfare. They're poor enough to qualify.
DeleteI am struck by the difference between those immigrants who are using up our welfare funds vs immigrants who contribute to our economy by working in high tech or even starting high tech companies.
E.g., Many Indian immigrants have successfully started high-tech companies in the U.S., with notable examples including Vinod Khosla, co-founder of Sun Microsystems, and Jyoti Bansal, who built the billion-dollar company Harness. These entrepreneurs often leverage their strong educational backgrounds and experience in technology to thrive in Silicon Valley
Those children need to get their high tech careers in gear, David says.
DeleteWe only want rich, highly educated immigrants to enter the USA, says David. Fuck the ones who are fleeing oppression, hunger, political persecution. They can stay there and suck it up after their tsunamis, hurricanes, earthquakes, border disputes, religious harrassment, and so on. We don't need them here, no matter what their kids might grow up to invent or become.
Ilhan Omar, who came to the US as a child, not by marrying her brother, is an example of the possibilities for immigrant children. They can grow up to be political leaders with highly articulate and intelligent contributions to our government, by being elected to represent their communities in Congress. Good for her! She is more valuable to us than another imported tech worker on a special visa who displaces Americans already here who are seeking jobs.
I have always wondered why Xenophobic Republicans accepted a president with a wife bought from Slovenia who faked her way into a "genius" visa with her looks and money, while real geniuses don't get the same opportunities to marry a president and become a first lady too lazy and dumb to do the job properly.
I'm struck how billionaires have bought our politicians to dump thousands of billions into their pockets and idiots like David chase the crooked little crooks, manly because blahs. Why not put all the felons behind bars? Why only attack the little ones?
DeleteNo country needs people who managed to fuck up and stay poor and uneducated in their own country, idiot-Democrat.
DeleteJust like no country would want you.
Is it a fuck up that makes people stay poor when a major earthquakes causes your house to fall down and bury all of your belongings under rubble, including a few of your family members?
DeleteWhy do people who become immigrants leave their homes? Read something about it:
https://justiceforimmigrants.org/wp-content/uploads/2016/11/Root-Causes.pdf
DeleteWhen earthquakes causes [sic] your house to fall down, idiot-Democrat, you rebuild you house.
Well, not you, obviously; you are, after all, an idiot-Democrat.
The "whistleblower" featured in the article David linked said: ""I know that everybody wants to make this a Somali issue or a race issue. It's not."
DeleteThe fraud in MN involved about $250 million (not billions) and was run by an American, a White Christian woman, who roped in a vulnerable community of immigrants, conning them and taking advantage of them to steal funds. Most of the benefits went to this White woman. A few Somalis were tried, but most plead guilty, because many of them filled out paperwork that in a technical sense was illegal, but they were unaware of the illegality and were not benefiting much, many not at all, from the scheme. The main beneficiary of the scheme was the White Christian mastermind. She was found out by the Walz admin, who referred the case to the feds, and she was promptly prosecuted by the Biden admin. The Walz admin has also uncovered Medicaid fraud in his state; under Walz MN has become a successful state with a lot of money, which does attract fraudsters. Notably in these fraud cases, as in the entire nation, the fraud is carried out by providers, not beneficiaries.
DeleteSomerby obscures all this, exposing his right wing agenda.
Us Somali is so dumb, can't do no fraud. Victim is us.
DeleteScapegoating Somalis for fraud committed by an American, is a bad strategy, a losing strategy for Republicans.
DeleteIn the past, it likely would have worked, with corporate media being dominant; but due to the democratization of media, we can better discern the truth and dismiss misinformation.
It is uncomfortable for some to face the fact that the fraud came from "one of us" - from a White American, and one can see how poorly some of us are dealing with facing that fact.
DeleteActually, when people plead guilty, that means that in reality they did much worse than what they pled to.
That's why it's called "plea bargain". If there is no real risk to be convicted of something worse, there is reason to plead guilty.
The Russian troll farmer at 2:37 is working overtime.

ReplyDeleteNewson slicks his hair back, but he's a good looking guy, so they had to come up with something. They prefer guys who paint their face orange and who wear eye make up
ReplyDeleteGloucon X, my guess is there are a lot of people, with homes still in ashes, who would prefer that Newsom get his pretty self in gear.
DeleteFEMA no longer exists. Didn't Cecelia get the memo?
Deletehttps://www.gov.ca.gov/2025/01/24/heres-all-the-actions-governor-newsom-has-taken-in-response-to-the-los-angeles-fires/
"there are a lot of people, with homes still in ashes, who would prefer that Newsom get his pretty self in gear."
Delete???
Anonymouse 11:15am, something that won’t exist much longer is the deeds of private home owners in the Pacific Palisades.
DeleteNewsom obviously needs to roll up his sleeves and tote those hods of bricks -- those houses aren't going to rebuild themselves. Cecelia has no idea how long it takes to build a new house. If Newsom were to pose more often alongside construction vehicles, he might get actual credit for the things he has done to help people rebuild on their lots.
DeleteCecelia doesn't know that when the insurance industry abandoned CA after large earthquakes, the state took up the slack and offered reasonably priced earthquake insurance for homeowners. She also doesn't understand that Newsom, like other governors, has maintained a disaster fund to help the state after the next inevitable natural disaster, so CA has funds to help those affected by these latest fires. That is no doubt because Cecelia lives in Eastern Europe and sends her love notes from a troll farm where she barely knows English much less what Newsom does from his desk every day.
If we all vote for Newsom, FEMA might be reinstated.
DeleteAnonymouse 11:28am, it’s a pity that you don’t know that the insurance companies had actually abandoned the homeowners prior to the fire.
DeleteDoes Cecelia mean that someone is going to take away those homes in Pacific Palisades? There is nothing suggesting that. No one is talking about nationalizing housing in CA.
DeleteI once lived in Pacific Palisades back in the 1970s. It is nice there, but little different than the homes in the other communities that were burned. If anything, the wealthier people in Palisades should have more personal resources for coping than those in apartments that burned down in other parts of the city. All need help. Perhaps that is the only community she knows the name of in LA?
She addresses 11:15 but obviously didn't read the link provided.
Insurance is a problem in CA because of the natural disasters and the financial viability of such firms when a large area containing many homeowners is affected. That isn't Newsom's fault and it happened with respect to earthquakes before Newsom was elected.
DeleteMany homeowners choose to gamble by not paying for existing insurance options because of the price. This is the same problem as exists in FL because of hurricanes, which are acts of nature, not caused by the state's governor. I don't see anyone on the left targeting DeSantis for it, even if his hair is as greasy and he is as "pretty" as Newsom. But DeSantis isn't on Cecelia's current hit list because she gets her talking points from her supervisor, not the news and certainly not real life. Go back and read what Newsom has done to address the fire aftermath.
Having a record of action after a natural disaster is a boon to Newsom's election chances because we know what he has done and do not need to rely on words and promises. Then again, Trump is doing everything he promises but Republicans didn't listen and now look at the mess we are in.
DeleteDickheads kept telling us not to take Trump literally. LOL
DeleteAnonymouse 11:37 am, DeSantis isn’t a probable candidate for president in 2028, dope.
DeleteAs a fire protection engineer for 40 years I can say with confidence that Trump had it totally figured out that if Newscum had listened to him and opened up the (invisible) giant NoCal valve, so big, it's bigger than this room, so big it takes four very large men 24 hours to open it, with so much water the central valley would be flush with billions in crops, and we love our farmers don't we?, and the smelly rich people of Beverly Hills could take real showers instead of drip drip drip showers was about the most asinine thing the moron ever uttered. Cecilled, you have no idea how urban fire protection reservoirs and water mains are engineered. You also haven't seen a lab demonstration of 100 mph+ winds on hot ember distribution and urban fire spread. Cecucked, Stupid is as stupid does. And boy howdy, you all are experts on shrieking the stupid.
DeleteLack of appropriate policies to control wildfires is Newsom's fault. Burdensome regs that prevent homeowners from re-building is Newsom's fault.
Delete@11-37 - Earthquake insurance was never a problem for CA insurers, because Homeowners insurance policies didn't cover it. And, mortgage lenders didn't require it.
Delete"Lack of appropriate policies to control wildfires is Newsom's fault."
DeleteA remarkably evidence-free assertion.
And by the way, maybe Newsom didn't think the government should get in the way of having the free market handle wildfire prevention.
You like idiotic bullet pts. to explain your idiotic thoughts. What exactly can Newscum do to prevent urban fire spread by hot embers in 100 mph+ winds you who thinks like a bigoted two year old?
DeleteYou can pay for high deductible EQ coverage. But David, just make sure your gas line is severed - fire after quake is covered - and you are in the house when it blows. Your wife can then get all the insurance monies.
DeleteAnonymouse 11:48am, can you show me where I referenced ducts, reservoirs, or large men?
DeleteMaybe I did reference “large men”, but if you’ve ever seen a group of firemen walking into a building, you know why.
Quoting the moron President. The one morons flock to.
DeleteAnonymouse 12:21pm, unless “Cecilled” is one of the voices in your head (highly likely), you were referencing me.
DeleteEvery time I visit this blog I get cecilled.
DeleteAnonymouse 12:35pm, it’s why you’re here.
DeleteAs a firefighter that works in CA, I can assure you that while most of us are pretty fit, we are not "large men". It takes guts, speed, and cohesiveness to do our work, not size, in fact being "large" can often be a detriment. The best firefighter I've ever worked with was like 5'5".
DeleteAnonymouse 1;50pm, have you said this to a lot of women?
Delete
DeleteAre you, 1:50, playing a lot of bridge during your shift as a firefighter in CA?
I am the bridge player, not the guy you are trolling. I went to the Nationals in San Francisco last week and learned that Alcatraz inmates played bridge in the exercise yard. Anyone with spare time can play so why not guys in fire houses?
DeleteHa! Anonymouse 4:48pm outed Anonymouse 1:50pm as being Corby posing as a firefighter.
DeleteCc, maybe you should focus your attention on the menace in the White House and acknowledge that Somerby is right about him. But you’d rather waste what appears to be your entire life getting in digs at the commenters here and defending the menace in the White House.
DeleteCC needs to connect the strings on the bulletin board man.
DeleteAnonymouse 6:43pm and 6:56pm, my guess is that anonymouse 4:48pm is Corby’s disaffected son.
DeleteI think the word you want is estranged not disaffected.
DeleteHow does anyone on the troll farm believe Cecelia can pass for a native speaker much less a woman.
DeleteHere’s a picture of Newsom’s real father. His mother met up with this guy at a revival meeting or something, and boy, is Newsom a chip off the ole block:
Deletehttps://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Creator/RobertTilton
Anonymouse 8:00pm, no, I meant what I wrote. Disaffected is the perfect word for a son who is unhappily working for his boss/mother Corby.
DeleteNo way that Gavin is not this guy’s son…
Deletehttps://youtu.be/_fMJrdjs8Qk?si=hKBWNPDBcFO-ZvcG
He’s not.
DeletePeople like Cecelia don’t care what lies they tell.
DeleteAt least Cecelia doesn't pretend there is a Republican voter who isn't a bigot, like some of the other trolls here.
DeleteAre racist comments by blacks OK?
ReplyDelete“Candace Owens? Another coon.”
“I work with stupid white people.”
Says Jonathan Franklin, a current University adjunct professor & former NPR correspondent who built his career on issues of race, culture, & justice, was recorded during an undercover date with James O’Keefe.
Also, is O'Keefe's secret recording technique OK? On the one hand, he's tricking the interviewees. OTOH he's reporting information that the public ought to know.
I don't mind this kook being on National public radio; it's part of their charm. But, I am appalled that someone with these views is teaching our young people
https://x.com/JamesOKeefeIII/status/1998890704206991693
Is he a coon, that "professor"? If you're a coon, you're certainly allowed to call other coons "coons".
DeleteThat's in the Democrat Bible.
An "adjunct" professor is someone who is hired to teach specific courses on an as-needed basis. They do not do university service or conduct research or counsel students as tenure-track faculty. They come in, teach a class, then leave. It is the lowest rank in academia and requires no vetting much less faculty approval for hiring. And notice that David doesn't mention where he teaches. Pepperdine is a lot different than the University of California, and both are different than local community colleges, who also hire adjunct lecturers (not called professors by anyone except students).
DeleteWhat someone does in their personal life is unrelated to their teaching activities. David, of course, has no idea what this guy tells his students and hasn't even mentioned what kinds of classes he teaches. For example, I taught statistics. I would never have occasion to call anyone a racist name because I wouldn't be talking about race while teaching that topic.
But it IS a right wing tactic to try to get people fired from their jobs for internet or public statements made as citizens expressing their political and other views in their personal lives. Look what the right did to those who dared to tell their truth about Charlie Kirk. Now David appears to be repeating a ginned up complaint to defend a black person's complaint about Candace Owens, who is a mockery of a historical black person repeating white people's lies for personal gain. Is the term applied to her appropriate as a historical name for such a figure who advanced racism for white people in order to gain special treatment for themselves. Another name is "race traitor." Perhaps David prefers that one?
Secret recording is how Monica Lewinsky was trapped into testifying against Bill Clinton. It was OK for Linda Tripp, but not for liberals when they catch a conservative doing something bad? David has a highly selective conscience.
Delete...our young people...
DeleteChrist, you're an insufferable racist bastard.
Is our children learning?
Delete@11-11 Adjunct professor is "the lowest rank in academia." Indeed it is!. The last time I served that role I was paid $2500 for teaching an entire course. When you add prep time, checking homework, and meeting with students to class time, I shudder to think what my hourly pay was.
DeleteBy comparison, a professor who teaches one course in one semester and two courses in the other semester can get a six figure salary and fringe benefits.
As a retiree, I was teaching for my own pleasure. Those who have to support themselves as adjuncts are pretty much screwed.
David why do you bother taking the report of this cretin who has a track record of fabricating every story he works on at face value? Even breaking and entering to put together another bullshit story. Where the fuck is your bul?shit detector when it comes to this fuckhead?
DeletePS - you were grossly overpaid to misinform those poor students.
David, anonymices have called Clarence Thomas the n-word. I don’t think they’re going to get upset over some guy calling conservative blacks “coons”.
DeleteAnonymouse 11:55am, no, there’s video of Franklin repeatedly using that term.
DeleteDoes a track record of fabrication matter? O'Keefe's critics have a track record of falsely accusing him of fabricating stories. Why do these critics get a pass?
DeleteOh good then, shithead crooked grifter (ie a Republican leader) was finally not a complete asshole liar. Progress.
DeleteAnonymouse 12:10pm, but you’re a complete one…
DeleteSo explain the weirdo dressing up like a 70's blacksplotation film version of an urban pimp pretending like he actually dressed like that in his PP visit, then cut and paste the video to create a piece of total fiction on so!d baby parts. Explain why he was arrested trespassing in a telephone switch room. Explain why you are a highly educated dupe.
DeleteAnonymouse 12:15pm, what are yabbering about? No one is defending this guy. Not even you.
DeleteI'm not the one saying sleepy Don is fine. His press conferences prove he is fit for zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
Deleteahhhh..anonymouse 12:18pm nods off during her own posts. Just like the rest of us do when reading them.
Deleteahhhhhh... 36%
DeleteCecelia has finally figured out how I know you are but what am I works. He is learneding.
DeleteAnonymouse 12:33pm, no one says “but who am I” when reading your posts. No one has that existential crisis. We ‘re just happy that we’re not you.
DeleteDavid has never taught a class; everything he says is a lie.
DeleteFranklin's comments were stupid and racist, although it is the sort of thing most Republicans say on a daily basis.
Nobody here is calling Clarence Thomas the n word; we do recognize that his status is due to a type of racism called tokenism, that he is incompetent and corrupt - bought and paid for by right wing billionaires, that he horribly sexually harassed Anita Hill, and that he is captured and fueled by an undying urge to "own the libs".
@David: O'Keefe was arrested, charged, and convicted for tampering with phone lines at a U.S. Senator's legislative office.
DeleteDavid beefs about adjunct pay but he ignores that adjuncts do not do the full job, as I explained. Because he doesn’t understand that, I too doubt he ever taught college.
DeleteClarence Thomas is far too lazy to be called "the N-word". No one who has ever met a black person in real life could confuse one with a lazy-thinking, free-loader like Thomas.
DeleteI clicked on the link and tried to read the transcript provided, but it is made by AI and barely gets one in three words right compared to the video. I guess Fox viewers don't care about whether the words match the speakers, but it is hard to make sense out of anything when the transcript says "write" while the actual word used was "ride".
ReplyDeleteNewson is now saying that Democrats didn't address the border issues correctly, but I will probably vote for him anyway. Newsom is blatantly campaigning with such remarks, trying to do what the Democratic pundits say Harris should have done to win, while ignoring the truth on the ground. In a way, he is tossing Biden to the dogs, throwing him under the bus, in order to achieve his own presidential ambitions, but Newsom has also done a fine job as Governor of California, in difficult times, so I have confidence he would be a good president. I just wish he could get elected without having to display such craven fealty to addressing the content of those right wing attacks on our party.
What's wrong with saying Democrats didn't address the border issue correctly?
DeleteFirst, it isn't true. I consider repeating a right wing lie simply because it is so widely believed, to be caving in to propaganda. But if his handlers are telling him he cannot get elected president without disavowing Biden, I guess that's what he has to do. Sad.
DeleteWhy isn't true?
DeleteCause Newscum married that gross shriekey lady DonJr. was porking before daddy disappeared the loon.
DeleteNewsom has held up better than Guilfoyle.
DeleteGovernment by clueless nasty putzes . 36% is way too high, but progress.
Delete"Kilmar Abrego Garcia was released from an immigration detention center in Maryland Thursday after a federal judge ordered ICE to let him go “immediately.” But the administration is already trying to get around the order granting Abrego Garcia’s habeas corpus petition, although he was not detained at an ICE appearance this morning.
It’s really pretty fucking amazing how much effort, disinformation, and money the Trump administration is putting into trying to destroy this man. It’s damn near biblical or operatic, the dirty Job they’re trying to pull."
Garcia is unquestionably an illegal immigrant. That alone is grounds for deportation. But, also lots of evidence indicates that he was an active member of been de Aragua. Why shouldn’t he not be deported?
DeleteContrary to Somerby's misinformation on the immigration issue, Biden did address immigration competently.
DeleteBiden, right after inauguration, started working on the immigration spike that began under Trump - sparked by Trump's disastrous foreign policies.
Biden was doing so much on immigration in his first 100 days that Fox News was howling about it all the time.
Biden sent a team, including Harris, to work with other nations to reduce the immigration spike and reduce the influx of drugs, and it was effective.
Later Biden and Dems in Congress worked with Republicans on a bipartisan bill on immigration, with the Dems compromising quite a bit to get something done on the issue, but Trump stepped in and squashed the bill because Trump worried it would negatively impact his electoral chances.
Due to Biden's work, the immigration spike has faded. Fair enough, but it should be noted that immigration is a net positive for America, one of the primary ways in which America is exceptional. Immigrants have always been our lifeblood and backbone, doing much of the hard work of building this country. With immigrants, we are powerful, without immigrants we will wither away. Immigrants are hardworking, contribute billions every year to federal revenues and our businesses while taking very little of government resources, have a much lower crime rate than native born Americans, and enrich our culture.
Anonymouse 12:30pm: “ It’s really pretty fucking amazing how much effort, disinformation, and money the Trump administration is putting into trying to destroy this man. It’s damn near biblical or operatic, the dirty Job they’re trying to pull."
DeleteAgainst Garcia or Trump?
DeleteYeah. If idiot-Democrats used 5% of the energy they'd spent helping the Garcia character, for preventing Obama's drone murders, thousands of women and children would've been alive now.
Why should any politicians play God?
DeleteGarcia is unquestionably an illegal immigrant. That alone is grounds for deportation. But, also lots of evidence indicates that he was an active member of been de Aragua. Why shouldn’t he not be deported?
DeleteThat's why he has "MS13" tattooed on his knuckles? Because he's a member of Tren de Aragua? No wonder Trump's press conferences make sense to you, David. You're in about the same fog as he is. You realize that there's not single accurate statement in your post. Zero.
Fortunately Garcia is only one person. Unfortunately, a corrupt judge extended his stay here and threw a bit of sand in the deportation efforts. But, meanwhile, Homan expelled 600,000 illegal immigrants. Another 1.4 million left voluntarily. With the additional 10,000 additional ICE personnel, ICE's good work will continue.
DeleteUmm...you're going to mention, David, how inaccurate your post was? Your grasp of current events is seriously askew.
DeleteBiden deported about 100,000 more folks last year than Trump and ICE have this year. Incompetent deep state jagoffs squandering $200B of our tax dollars. Biden actually got rid of the bad guys so now ICE is left grabbing the good ones. Putzes.Total clown show top to bottom. Movement conservatism = failure.
Delete4:41 remember little child, two wrongs don't make a right. Also too, we let Bushy Cheney get away with all the bullshit with bullshit authorization of force and torture memos, etc., so you got the movement conservaturd deep state and ICE you wanted included in the package that the movement conservatives always dreamed of. Prove me wrong.
DeleteSaw this on Jeopardy this week:
Delete"Obama drone murders"
What is , yet another thing the Right doesn't give a shit about, Ken.
I’m done. I was fired, and no one else will pay me to troll. Goodbye, all. David and Cecelia, I’ll always love you both.
ReplyDeleteThat figures. You failed at the elementary basics like calling people "Soros-bot" or "idiot Democrat." If you're gonna troll, show some dedication to your craft.
DeleteDoesn't Trump U. offer a trolling major?
DeleteWe learnt about how rich assholes will try to scam you at Trump U. And never stop even when they are demented old men.
DeleteI am Midwest Antifa recruiter. If willing to relocate to 666 Little Somalia Shithole Rd., Mnnpls, MN and manufacture Molotov cocktails labelled, "Made by David in Cal," we have a spot for you!
DeleteHahaha you’re as funny as Gutfeld.
DeleteSo not as funny as terminal cancer?
DeleteKilmar Garcia was granted what was essentially permanent residency (withholding of removal status) by a judge in 2019. Garcia is not an illegal immigrant.
ReplyDeleteTrump photoshopped a picture of Garcia's hands to make it look like Garcia was affiliated with gangs, but this was false. In reality Garcia left El Salvador because he was being targeted by MS-13 members.
MS-13 is an American gang with ties to El Salvador.
Tren de Aragua is a Venezuelan gang, Kilmar Garcia is from El Salvador and has no connection with and was not escaping from Tren de Aragua.
Trump just pardoned Juan Orlando Hernández, who was a major drug trafficker with ties with MS-13.
Every week Trump keeps hitting a new low in the polls.
ReplyDeleteWhat is Trump's floor? Hard to know, but it is looking like it may be in the 20s even, maybe even worse.
Oof.
womp womp
C'mon. It's been 20 years now. You should be aware that the answer is 27 percent.
DeleteWho could forget the very stable genius Republicans ran carpet bagger Alan Keyes against Obama because black people couldn't tell the difference. Sweet Jesus they dumb.
