Remembering the “beast mode” run: With the rise of the freshman QBs, this has already been a very interesting NFL playoff season.

That said, why not revisit Marshawn Lynch’s famous “beast mode” run? This is the run which knocked the defending champion Saints out of the 2010 play-offs.

To review the run through Lynch’s eyes, just click here. As you watch the run, Lynch will tell you what he was thinking. What’s not to like about Marshawn Lynch? This is an amusing report from NFL films.

A bit of context:

The run came with 3:22 left in the game and the Saints coming on strong. They had closed from 14 points behind to 34-30. It looked like, if they got the ball back, they were quite likely going to win.

This was a very comical run. At the link, Lynch walks you through it.

The Seahawks won, 41-36. This was before Russell Wilson.

Important note: “Beast mode” is not a reference to The Daily Beast.
